Royal Rickshaw Ride!

Goodness! What an AMAZING day we had on Saturday! Whilst the rest of the country sat in their living rooms watching the Royal Wedding, we embarked on a crazy trip around Suffolk, wearing wedding dresses, with Ian at The Suffolk Rickshaw Company. If you followed our insta, twitter or Facebook feed on the day, you will have perhaps seen the crazy pics we took - what you didn't see were the looks and reactions from shocked members of the public ranging from "oh, what a lovely couple you make" to "Look at those SL*GS" (okay, so we might have been holding a bottle of prosecco and looking a little worse for wear, but we hardly think the latter comment was justified!! Classy ladies we were not, but no need to go that far!).

The day ended at BBC Radio Suffolk where we were 'Super Fan' guests on the Sarah Lilly show - yes, we know, making fools of ourselves AGAIN, but, hey, it's what we do best!

So, where did the rickshaw take us....

Those of you who entered our competition will be eager to know the locations we visited. In order to be entered into the draw (which will take place at our show on Sunday 24th June) you needed to guess at least 6 ...

FELIXSTOWE - A rickshaw ride along the seafront, taking in the early morning sun by the pier, seafront gardens and Fludyers (We also visited Mcdonalds.. but won't count this as a location!).

WOODBRIDGE - next up TIDE MILL where we coincidentally bumped into The Suffolk Coffee Pod (Anthony will be bringing his cute, quirky red coffee pod to our show....if you fancy grabbing your caffeine fix on the day).

ORFORD - stopped by at the Castle for a cheeky canon ride!

SNAPE MALTINGS - prosecco stop! (£11 for two glasses...WHAAAAAT!!!, it was okay though - there were two raspberries in each glass)

ALDEBURGH - clambering onto THE SHELL in wedding dresses after couple of glasses of prosecco was not as easy (or as elegant) as you might think....

THORPENESS - HOUSE IN THE CLOUDS and BOATING LAKE - yet more clambering onto things (thanks Ian for this suggestion), only problem being this was a moving object this time. Thankfully, we didn't end up in the lake!

FRAMLINGHAM - a visit to Ed Sheehan country was a must. FRAM CASTLE had to be done - no canon rides here though.

SOUTHWOLD - a rickshaw ride to SOUTHWOLD PIER and then off for another canon ride outside THE LIGHTHOUSE (can you detect a pattern here?), before kissing BRADLEY PIGGINS in the ADNAMS cafe.

BLYTHBURGH - spoooooooky!!! We so desperately wanted to go inside Suffolk's most haunted church, but there was a service going on :(

IPSWICH - our penultimate stop took us to CHRISTCHURCH PARK MANSION for some more heckling and lots of strange looks!

BBC RADIO SUFFOLK .... in the Green Room - can you tell we are nervous! Look at those forced smiles :))))

Are you in with a winning chance? If so, feast your eyes on the following fabulous suppliers who have all contributed towards an extra special goody bag, containing......

Thank you sooooo much suppliers for your generosity - this wouldn't have been possible without you.

And HUGE thank you to Mr Rickshaw Man (or Ian, as he prefers to be known) from The Suffolk Rickshaw Company - for putting up with us (we know we were light as feathers to cycle around - so we don't need to thank you for that bit ;) ).
